Corporate Venturing is the task of managing a network of internal and external resources to create new businesses that strengthen the core of our clients' corporate strategy.  

The ability to contend with intensifying competition necessitates clients to inspire their latent talent pools and mobilise their resources to launch high growth businesses.  Through our Corporate Venturing Program our clients are able to grow their businesses by disrupting traditional markets, optimizing the risk reward ratio of their strategic investments, and strengthening the strategic fit between their vision, business environment and resources.

Start-up
Start-up funding is provided to investees before they have made any sales.  Our Incubation Program enables us to assess the feasibility of potential investees for funding, allocate strategic physical and financial resources to the investee, source acquisitions where necessary and secure joint venture agreements with strategic corporate partners.   Our strategic advisory focuses on strategic planning, commercialization options, business structure, growth funding, marketing and human resources needs.

Expansion Capital
Expansion funding is provided to investees who are making sales.  The funding can take the form of vanilla equity or debt, as well as mezzanine instruments.  Typically our investment in growth companies will be for 3 to 5 years, with an exit by means of a trade sale to a larger player or through an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
